I am postponing the next episode of Shocking Tales! until Wednesday. I haven't had much of a chance to do any of the artwork, and I don't think I will before then, just been too busy with other stuff. I'm expecting that I'll have some free time in the next two weeks to work on the next storyline, but I can't be sure.

I just finished up the animatic for the short film version of Drip, Drip Goes the Blood of the Dead. Shooting is scheduled for December 13th, and my brother has gathered a cast and crew. Hopefully it doesn't snow before then, as zombies in winter coats don't seem quite as terrifying. I think the final film will run around 3 minutes long. I have been building a 8 x 7 foot green screen in my basement to shoot some of the scenes, and will hopefully be building a makeshift dolly sometime in the next two weeks for two or three shots that need a smooth camera move.

And if all goes well and post production on Drip, Drip runs smoothly, I will be back working on Griff Hagarth by Christmas. I haven't done any character animation in about 5 months. Awful!

Some quick updates:

The strip will not be updated next week. I'm going to be in Chicago from Thursday until Sunday, demoing particleIllusion at the ShoxBizExpo there.

I've added a new Work In Progress section to the site. I found I was producing so many models, but not showing them off because it took so long to make thumbnails and throw them into the HTML page. So I'm now using a Coppermine gallery. It's funkalicious!

I've decided to throw my hat into the Nanowrimo thing. 50,000 words, in one month. I figure I have 31 hours total on the train to sit and write, so I may as well do it. I'm not starting with a plot, I figure I'll just start writing scenes with a common theme and see how the puzzle can fit together. Non-linear writing. It's tentatively titled "Creep, Oh Darkened Vines". It will be cheesy, and involve demons. Or just a flaming pit. Who knows?

I have finished two images so far that were meant for this year's fantasy art calendar. They should be up for sale as posters before midweek. I don't think I'll have the entire 12 images ready by the end of the year, so there may not be a calendar at all. Just alot of posters.

I added a FAQ to the particleIllusion page. Hopefully it will stop people from asking about the AVI format request error thing.

Must get to writing. Farewell...
