So I'm less excited about FPSCreator than I was two weeks ago. The demo version
showed that as easy as it was to make a level and throw in some characters, it's
still a long way off before bringing your own guns and characters in will be made
simple (right now it's copying and pasting stuff into directories and changing names
around and stuff). Also, after trying to make a low poly game character so that
I could send a reel out to game companies, I realize I can't paint textures. I am
devoid of painting talent.
I'm in an overall unproductive funk. I finally changed the Wilbur character into
what he was originally meant to be, an anime style cutesy-ish character so that
I could make a bad Beyblade/Yu Gi Oh/Medabots or whatever the hell other crappy
anime show that's just a commercial for some terribly addictive crack-card game/cheap
toy for kids. I think it will be called SuperStix. I just got the idea of
what little clip I want to put together as I was writing this, so I'm storyboarding
it now. It should be simple enough to do tonight, though rendering takes SOOOOOOOOO
long because of the inking. Santa, please bring me a new computer for easter.
